我來認真回覆一下好了
原本我的最愛是the strokes
但是可能在去年
白線條在我心中的地位已經可以與the strokes並駕齊驅了
這是因為有一次朋友燒了一張dvd給我
結果裡面有白線條在Glastonbury的現場
我確實被震撼到了
僅僅兩個人 現場非常的空
這樣也可以表演 而且還很有氣勢!!!
所以
或許你可以從youtube下手 找找看他們的現場
或是 我覺得 拍的很帥氣的mv
如果只聽音樂並不能帶來什麼感覺的話
對我而言
白線條有的是一種粗糙的帥氣
我想不出除了帥氣以外更適合套在這個團上面的形容詞
就像有版友推薦的Ball & Biscuit
現場jack white那種投入的solo 絕對是帥氣的!!!
我喜歡的是粗糙的顆粒 lo-fi的錄音
忘記在哪個地方(網路上)看過一個訪問
白線條的某張專輯用的是已經沒有人在用的四軌類比式錄音(好 我細節全忘了)
反正不是現在大家都會靠電腦多少輔助的那種錄音方式就對了
實實在在就是要重回那種 老 的感覺就對了
不過話說回來
我出生在民國75年
那種真正的藍調車庫搖滾像是the kinks,yardbird之類的
只聽說零星幾首
所以the strokes,white stripes這些團 我並部會覺得是在重複什麼
可能他是那樣起來的 但是對我而言卻是全新的體驗
廢話說完了
我倒是來介紹一下他們的歌
他們友五張專輯
讓他們開始大紅大紫的應該是白血球吧(white blood cell)
這張裡面除了快狠準的Fell In Love With A Girl之外
還有一首鄉村好歌Hotel Yorba
必聽不可 非常淘陶然 你會覺得音樂就是要清爽有力 多餘的東西就是垃圾
mv都狠棒 youtube都找的到
這張我還要在推薦一首歌
little room
這首歌只有50秒 只有vocal 大鼓 hi-hat 後面在亂唱
見仁見智
而這張專輯後面有些可能太indie 我也不知道要怎麼介紹
再來是大象
大概也是白線條的一個高峰
七國軍隊(seven nation army)我第一次聽是在高中的畢業旅行中的V頻道
算是依次驚艷
這張是狠成熟的作品了吧
每一首都可以說一下
我就曾經聽black math聽到快瘋掉
順道一提 白線條的歌詞通常寫的狠無聊(還是說我看不懂)
但是都狠有趣
我常常在想 要是有人唱這種沒意義的中文歌詞 不知道會被怎樣幹醮
不過這道是有一個實際經驗
有人說聽88顆拔辣籽(一個台灣樂團)如果不追求什麼內容 也是可以狠快樂的
還是說中文歌一定要歌詞寫的好才能紅？
回到白線條的大象
在推薦in the cold cold night
還有The Hardest Button To Button 這算是那首50秒的歌的進化版 吧
我覺得這種亂來的東西實在是狠有趣 可以試試看
Ball & Biscuit有人已經推薦了 帥氣藍調單品
不過雖然這張是狠成熟的 卻步是我最喜歡的
最喜歡的算是他們最一開始的兩張:The White Stripes跟De Stijl
聽過這兩張才知道什麼叫做生猛有力的白線條
karen O的鬼叫jack white在他的第一張專輯就已經叫過了(可能沒那麼性感)
不過要我選出什麼代表作的話
很難阿 第一章整張都可以聽一聽哩
畢竟我聽了這張就很少在去聽大象了 哈
第一張同名專輯每首歌都不超過三分鐘吧
胡亂帶過第一張 第二章De Stijl倒是有幾首歌我特別想講
首先就是第一首歌You're Pretty Good Looking (For A Girl)
一首不到兩分鐘的歌 唱的挺好哩
再來是第二首Hello Operator
可以說是ball&biscuit的前身 你不會認為有人吉他會這樣彈得(我疏漏寡聞)
跟人在叫沒什麼兩樣 最後還有帥氣口琴
這首歌跟brmc的howl都徹底的改變了我對於口琴的印象了...(我以前只看過口琴社得..)
Apple Blossom也是一首狠有趣的歌
至於第五張...我也沒聽過幾次
所以先說抱歉
另外除了講一獎白線條之外
如果喜歡這種的版友可以聽聽看一個英國女人Holly Golightly
單純覺得他的聲音狠特別 歌也老老的狠友我喜歡的感覺
他曾經在大象的最後一張專輯獻聲過
holly就是她!!!
另外還有也是這一群人的一個團叫The Greenhornes
這個團的bass手跟鼓手後來跟jack white和另一位組了個The Raconteurs
也推薦一下好了 不過這個版大大這麼多一定不用我推了
去年我去fuji看 這個團也是期待之一
結果看到jack唱歌跟彈吉他的樣子實在太讓人感動了
真是用盡生命阿!!
最後也可以聽一下另外一個兩人組black keys
他們這個不得了 cd路的就那兩個樂器 原汁原味 但是很難習慣
vocal很像jimi hendrix
